CCP has a commitment to encouraging and training the next generation of researchers and we offer a variety of short courses, postgraduate and PhD programmes throughout the academic year.
CCP Delivered Courses
The Centre delivers a variety of courses aimed at students, academics and practitioners.
Our popular Economics of Competition Policy for Economists for practitioners who are new to practical competition policy runs every October. To be kept informed of when registration opens for this course, join our mailing list.
Members from the Centre teach on three post-graduate masters courses at the University of East Anglia:
LLM International Commercial and Competition Law
MSc in Industrial Economics
MA in Public Policy and Public Management (Competition and Regulation pathway)
These courses have a significant competition policy element and students who enrol through one of these schools will receive training in their discipline from both the associated school and from CCP members. Students are also encouraged to attend and participate in the weekly Friday seminar series.
We also run a successful and lively PhD Programme with students within the Schools of Law, Economics and the Norwich Business School.
We also run a successful and lively PhD Programme with students within the Schools of law, economics, political sciences and the Norwich Business School.
Each year we hold a CCP PhD Workshop which brings together academics and students from these disciplines from across the disiciplines of economics, business management, law and political science. A number of external students from other institutions are also invited to present and stay to attend the CCP Annual Conference which is held directly after the workshop.
