Graham Loomes is a Professor in the Economics Department at Warwick University, and remains a faculty member of CCP.

is research is focused on the analysis of people's preferences, particularly as they relate to decision making in the face of risk and uncertainty, with policy applications to health, safety and environmental issues. This involves using experimental methods to test, develop and refine theory, and conducting field studies to address practical policy issues such as the valuation of health and safety benefits. He is the author of more than 50 papers in refereed journals including the American Economic Review, Econometrica, Economica, Economic Journal, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Risk and Uncertainty and the Review of Economic Studies. He is one of fewer than 10 UK-based economists included in the ISI Highly Cited list. He has undertaken research for a number of government bodies in the UK and elsewhere, and has received funding from the ESRC and the Leverhulme Trust.
