Post-Doctoral Opportunity at the Centre for Competition Policy.

Do you know someone who might be interested in a SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE position doing economics related to energy and distribution? Applications are invited for the one-year full-time post of Senior RA to work on a collaborative research project between the Centre for Competition Policy (CCP) and Loughborough University. The project is focused on the distributional impact of gas markets volatility and the possible mitigations. The selected person will work closely with Andrew Burlinson (CCP, UEA) and Monica Giulietti (Loughborough).

The overarching objective of the project is to assess the impact of policy measures aimed at increasing consumers’ resilience to energy price volatility, including those specifically directed at vulnerable consumers.

You will have a relevant postgraduate research degree or equivalent professional experience in the research area, significant previous experience of independent research and high-level analytical, economics, mathematical and statistical skills.
